Anastasia Glawion studied social anthropology, cultural and literary studies in St. Petersburg, Bielefeld, Konstanz and Neudelhi and received her doctorate in Darmstadt in 2021 with a thesis on practices of transnational memory in the digital context. Her main focus is on mixed-methods approaches in digital literary studies, especially questions of relationality in the study of literature. This interest developed in the project “Reading at Scale” on novellas in the 19th century as well as in the research of digital amateur literature, the resulting social networks and the effect of such texts on readers. Since July 2024, she has held the Junior Professorship for Digital Literature and Methods at Friedrich-Alexander University.
